Follow the money

Follow the money, an initiative by Connected Development (CODE), an organisation dedicated to empowering marginalised communities in Nigeria, wins the Council of Europe Democracy Award. This comes after winning the United Nations SDG award earlier this year.

Taking to twitter, the founder of the organisation, Hamzat Lawal, announced the good news. He says the initiative, follow the money remains committed to bringing grassroot voices into policy and decision making while ensuring democratic leadership and accountability by mobilising citizens.

Initiated in 2012, the World Forum for Democracy is a platform for dialogue and innovation in democratic governance, which promotes the Council of Europe principles across the world. Founded in 2012, Connected Development [CODE] has as mission to empower marginalized communities in Africa.

Desert Bloom Advisory says congratulations! This is wishing you more success in all your future endeavours!
