The Citizen Engagement Secretariat of the World Bank Group (WBG) is opening a call for nominations to fill seats on the World Bank Group’s Expert Advisory Council (the Council) on Citizen Engagement, which have become vacant.

The Terms of Reference of the Council provided for 12 members from civil society (2), academia (2), private sector (2), governments (2), foundations (2) and donor organizations/development partners including the WBG (2). In 2018 the decision was made to exclude the WBG from the count, as the host institution, enabling for 2 non-WBG representatives from donor organizations/development partners. There are therefore eight vacancies that will be filled through this call for nominations are as follows:

Private Sector (two)

Academia (two)

Governments (one)

Foundations (one)

Civil Society (two)
