Nigeria’s former Minister of Agriculture and current President of African Development Bank (AFDB) was recently granted the Grand Officer of the Merit, Tunisia’s highest honour. Taking to twitter, Dr Adesina announce this great news.

Dr. Adesina was very instrumental in transforming Nigeria’s agriculture sector during his tenure under Nigeria’s immediate past president, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan. He was elected president of the African Development Bank on May 28, 2015. He continues to make great strides with the AFDB funding key developmental projects on the continent. The Bank recently completed a road linking Gambia and Senegal.

We say congratulations to Dr. Adesina. More power to your elbows.
