Tosin Adebusuyi had her Bachelor of Science Public Health and Masters in Public Health from Babcock University, Nigeria and University of Glasgow, United Kingdom, respectively. With multidimensional skills-set and work experience in administration, programme planning and implementation among others, Tosin heads Treasure Jars Youth Centre, a youth-focused non-governmental organisation (NGO) focusing on Adolescent Health, Life Skills Building and Entrepreneurship Development.

The NGO organizes sexuality education and life skills building workshops in secondary schools, one of which is ‘Project Boys to Men’, a programme that reaches out to teenage boys through experience sharing and capacity building sessions by mentors. Some of the entrepreneurship programmes include business networking events tagged ‘Le Rendezvous…MEET, NETWORK, SHARE’; a United States Department of State-funded entrepreneurship training for 60 youth in Osogbo, Osun State organized in 2016 and a first-of-its-kind entrepreneurs’ showcase in Osun State in 2017. Over 4,500 youth have directly benefited from programmes organised by Treasure Jars Youth Centre.

Tosin is an alumnus of the Young African Leaders Initiative Regional Leadership Centre (YALI RLC), Accra Ghana and a member of the U.S. Government Exchange Alumni Association, Osun State Chapter. She is passionate about youth development and volunteering. In her spare time, Tosin loves to bake moist chocolate cakes and make handkerchief pancakes!

Keep up the good work Tosin and we wish you all the best in your future endeavours!
